Connect Zoom: meetings and webinars created for you

How to connect Zoom, where to pick it for consultations, card meetings and events, and how to remove it.

With Zoom connected, MyVisito creates a fresh Zoom meeting in your Zoom account for every paid consultation, every meeting you confirm from your card and every online event you publish, and sends the link only to people who registered or paid. You never open Zoom, create a meeting or copy a link. The connection is part of the paid plans; a fixed Zoom link you paste yourself works on every plan.

Adding the app

  1. Go to My account > Integrations (team plans: Company > Integrations), find the Zoom card and press Connect.
  2. Zoom shows its sign-in and then an approval screen: "MyVisito is requesting to create and manage meetings and webinars in your account". Press Allow.
  3. You are back in MyVisito, and the card reads "Connected" with your Zoom account email. If the account has Zoom's webinar add-on, a "Webinars included" badge appears too.

What we ask Zoom for, and why: create, read, update and delete meetings and webinars (the link itself, the update when a date moves, the deletion on a refund), and read the user profile (to show which account is connected). We never access recordings, chat or participant lists.

Using it

  • Paid consultation: in the offer editor, Meetings tab, under "Where does the meeting take place", choose Online and then Automatic Zoom. Every paid booking gets its own Zoom meeting of the slot's length; buyers see the link on the order page and in the email after payment.
  • Card meetings: in the card editor's booking settings, switch on Online meetings and pick under "How people join": Google Meet, Zoom (both on paid plans, created by themselves the moment you confirm) or My own link (free: a fixed Zoom room, Meet or Teams link you paste once). Every meeting you confirm gets the link in the confirmation email, on the requester's personal page and inside the calendar invite. On the Inbox screen, next to an online meeting request, you see which link will be created; if the connection is missing, a connect line appears there before you confirm, and after confirming the link itself shows.
  • Online event (webinar): in the event editor, Content editor tab, Where section, switch on "This event is online" and pick Zoom meeting or Zoom webinar (the webinar option appears only when the account carries Zoom's add-on). The link is created the moment you publish, shows under "Where" and reaches registered guests according to "Who sees the join link". Moving the date updates the Zoom session; canceling the event deletes it.

If you pick Zoom before connecting, the screen shows a one-line connect door instead, and publishing an event stops with an explanation until you connect or switch to your own link.

Removing the app

On the Integrations screen, press Disconnect on the Zoom card. You can also remove MyVisito from inside Zoom (Zoom App Marketplace > Manage > Added Apps > MyVisito > Remove); both sides update. Sessions already created stay in your Zoom account and their links keep working; we simply stop managing them. What we store and delete on disconnect: the access tokens (encrypted), the ids of the sessions we created and their join links.
